Mama Jean is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our business, and we adhere to the following practices:

• all of the compostable waste from our home bakery are composted and used to support growth in our organic garden

• we purchase compostable clear bags to package cookies as well as carrier bags, boxes, and deli sheets that are made out of recyclable material

• our approach is hyper-local and we actively seek out vendors and partners who operate in as close proximity to our business as possible

• we use organic, seasonal ingredients when possible

• we are partnered with The Food Drive to ensure that any excess food is not wasted but instead shared with neighbors experiencing need

• we joined the Zero Waste Committee, which plays an active role in reducing our environmental impact as a community
